The City of Mississauga is hiring election workers for the 2024 By-election being held on Monday, June 10, 2024. Make a difference in your community by applying to work in one of the paid positions at a voting location in Mississauga.

To be an election worker, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Have access to a personal email address that’s not shared with anyone else

“Being involved in the upcoming by-election is an excellent opportunity to connect with your local community. When applying, you have the option to either apply alone or form a team with friends and family. This allows all group members to work at the same voting location. We make every effort to meet these requests whenever possible.”

Diana Rusnov, City Clerk and Director, Legislative Services
